I do not have a green thumb. I kill plants without even trying. Although maybe my lack of trying is why I kill plants so easily. I nearly killed a cactus once. My mother rescued it. I didn't know you could 'over water' something. "What, plants can drown?".
But for some ungodly reason I've decided to set up a garden on my balcony. Mostly because I LOVE PLANTS. They smell good, they taste good, they look good. I want to have my own private herb garden. Basil, cilantro, rosemary...MMM.
Maybe I could grow tomatoes? Or GARLIC?! Probably not.
But I didn't manage to sprout the basil and oregano. My Easter lily didn't die in the first week (lets see how it goes after a month or two), and I bought a sad looking pansy for 97 cents which I'm afraid won't make it. The tulip certainly didn't. The tulip was dead before it even got home, it just didn't know it yet. I'm a plant killer.
Wish we luck with the entire garden of mine ;)...
